Therapy for Individuals
  • Long- or short-term therapy offered
  • Flexible scheduling for those whose work hours change from week to week
  • Session duration is typically 50 minutes, though may stretch into 1 hour when working with deeper issues.
  • Double sessions/Intensives (1 hour and 50 minutes) may also be scheduled.
Group Work

I provide several groups throughout the year, with different areas of focus and goals. Most commonly, I offer groups for specialized populations. These groups meet in person on Fridays. Online groups may be available in 2025. Some examples:

  • Motherless Daughters, for women who lost their mother before age 30
  • Motherless Daughters, all ages
  • Reducing Anxiety Group
  • Writing Through Grief

Fees & Insurance

Fees

My fee is $190 per session.

I offer a limited number of spots at a lower rate, based on a sliding scale that takes into account income, out-of-network insurance coverage, and ability to pay. I also offer one ongoing pro-bono spot in my schedule. I’ve made this conscious choice as a therapist because I want to offer therapy to people from all walks of life. I realize that for some people, therapy isn’t generally an affordable option. I’d like to help make it a possibility.

I offer a free consultation for new clients. If after the consultation, you’d like to work with me, we can schedule a first appointment. Unfortunately, I often have a waitlist so if you prefer, I can give you a referral to another provider.

Insurance

Due to the difficulties navigating insurance paperwork and demands, I am not a provider on any insurance panels. However, I can provide a monthly statement for you if you have out-of-network insurance benefits.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
